Research introduces new standards for Living Labs
Living labs play a crucial role in testing and developing solutions that directly address the needs of society. Research project VITALISE set out to improve processes and data infrastructures in Living Labs.

The recently concluded project, with TUE participation by Pieter Van Gorp, was able to achieve some significant improvements.
The main achievements include the development of new reference processes for Health and Wellbeing Living Labs, granting access to research infrastructures to external researchers, and launching a tool for virtual access to datasets on health and active, healthy aging.
Van Gorp is proud of the results: 鈥淰ITALISE is not only a milestone for the researchers involved, but also a springboard for follow-up research. We are enormously proud that VITALISE, after previously being recognized as Best Practice by the Directorate General for Research & Innovation of the European Union, has now also received a positive final assessment. This underlines the impact and potential of the research. We can be proud of what we have achieved and draw energy from it for the future developments that will come from it.
