4th Digital Transformation Community (DTC) Meeting

The 4th meeting of the Digital Transformation Community (DTC) focused on the latest developments in digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI). By sharing knowledge and experiences, the DTC fosters a collaborative environment that encourages the co-development of advanced methods, tools and techniques for digital transformation.

Panel discussion

The meeting began with a lively panel discussion on AI and Generative AI, led by Yingqian Zhang. Speakers included Banu Aysolmaz, who spoke about AI-driven business models, and Yaoxin Wu, who discussed Generative AI for decision-making. Susan Hommerson emphasized the need for regulation in AI, while Philip Nickel explored the ethical dimensions of digital transformation. The discussion concluded with presentations by Martijn Beeks and Jelle Dikker, who showed how advanced AI tools can be practically deployed.

Breakout Sessions

During the four breakout sessions, the needs of organizations were matched with the expertise of researchers. Practical examples of AI applications such as requirement management and emergency response chatbots were discussed.
