Bram De Moor appointed as Assistant Professor in the OPAC research group
His research focuses on sustainable logistics through collaborative, multi-modal, and closed-loop supply chains.

The Operations, Planning, Accounting, and Control research group welcomes Bram De Moor as a new Assistant Professor. Chairman Ivo Adan is pleased with De Moor: “Bram will be a valuable addition to our research and teaching, we are happy he is a part of our team.â€
De Moor studied Business Engineering at KU Leuven where he also earned a PhD in Business Economics. He is enthusiastic about his new position: “The OPAC group has an excellent reputation. In my first weeks, I was excited to witness their groundbreaking industry-driven research projects, engaging teaching methods, and vibrant sense of community. I am looking forward to contributing to their ongoing success through innovative research and impactful teaching.â€
De Moor analyzes how companies can reduce the environmental impact of their supply chains by making smarter replenishment decisions. He currently focuses on collaborative, multi-modal, and closed-loop supply chains, using methodologies such as dynamic programming and deep reinforcement learning. Outside of work, Bram enjoys cycling, playing table tennis, and catching up with friends after a futsal match.
