On February 1, Z眉mb眉l Atan will be the new chair of the Operations, Planning, Accounting and Control (OPAC) research group. She succeeds Ivo Adan who has been leading the group since 2020.

Ivo Adan looks back on his time as chair with pride: 鈥淚t has been an honor and pleasure to lead this talented group Together we have made significant strides in improving our research output and strengthening our collaboration with industry, and we have grown as a group, not only in size, but especially in cohesion.鈥�

Z眉mb眉l Atan is looking forward to her new role and has ambitious plans for the future: I am excited to take on the leadership of OPAC. The members of this group are exceptionally dedicated to delivering impactful research and providing outstanding teaching. My aim is to foster a vibrant, energetic, and enjoyable environment where everyone feels motivated and inspired. I am committed to supporting each individual in the group and look forward to celebrating their achievements and successes as they advance in their careers.鈥�
