For international students, we organize the Welcome Days, a special onboarding program!
Participation is not mandatory, but we highly recommend signing up.
The Welcome Days are designed for all international bachelor's and master's students and focus on getting to know the Netherlands, Eindhoven, and the university. We start with the check-in, followed by presentations with essential information from the International Office. Additionally, our international student community introduces itself and shares valuable tips.
We also organize an information market where you can learn more about Dutch banks, insurance, bicycle rentals, and other practical matters. You can also collect your campus card, register at the sports center, and ask questions about your residence permit. Moreover, this day will help you quickly become familiar with Dutch customs and traditions. The morning concludes with a joint lunch, providing an opportunity to meet fellow students in an informal setting.
In the afternoon we organize meet-up activities. The goal of the activities is that you get to know your fellow students better and discover the Netherlands further. This whole day will take place on Friday the 15th of August.
Additionally, we organize an extra meet-up moment on Sunday, August 17, where we facilitate fun activities, which help you connect with fellow students.
