RESEARCH PROFILE
Dr. Hamid Montazeri has served as an assistant professor at Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒) in the Netherlands since 2020. He earned his MSc in Mechanical Engineering in 2006 and completed his PhD in Building Physics and Wind Engineering at 果冻传媒 in 2015. Dr. Montazeri was awarded postdoctoral fellowships from the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) in 2015 and 2018 for his pioneering research on convective heat transfer in turbulent boundary layers, focusing on building-integrated photovoltaics at KU Leuven in Belgium. His research interests include the application of aerodynamics and fluid dynamics to buildings, building-integrated perovskite/silicon photovoltaics, urban wind energy systems, and innovative renewable energy solutions for urban environments. To advance these fields, he develops advanced multi-scale multi-physics models that utilize high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and machine learning techniques. His efforts aim to drive the advancement of net-zero energy building designs and promote sustainable urban development.
