EHCI Grand Challenges
EHCI aims to make the roadmap for exponential technology happen, by developing new technologies, such as new types of processors, highly-efficient communication transceivers, secure communication technology and ubiquitous sensors.
With its unique positioning the EHCI will attract and gear new investments towards realizing world-leading scientific results, innovative startup and spinoff companies and start up new, explorative research.
The focus of the scientific program is structured around three Grand Challenges.

EHCI VACANCIES
By bringing together two eminent research fields: photonics and quantum technology, and working from an engineering science perspective the EHCI is uniquely able to transfer research into real-world sustainable applications. With a focus on societal needs the EHCI will drive the roadmap for these exponential technologies in computing, communication and sensing, as the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ has already proved in integrated photonics.
The institute has a strong infrastructure, both outside and inside. The EHCI is strongly positioned in the local Brainport ecosystem, connected to world-class industry and knowledge partners, and has state-of-the-art facilities to enable internal and external users to perform cutting-edge research.
In order to advance photonics and quantum technology related research ¹û¶³´«Ã½ has many research vacancies varying from assistant professor, associate professor to full professor. Please see our and join us!
