ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Sylvia Roovers-Genet obtained her Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Medical Sciences and Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒) in 2016. During her studies, she joined student team T.E.S.T., where they competed in the international SensUs competition focused on biosensing.
She continued her academic journey with a Master鈥檚 in Biomedical Engineering, graduating in 2018. Her thesis explored the stabilization of protein-protein interactions in the group of prof. dr. ir. Luc Brunsveld, and her internship at UCB in the UK further enriched her expertise through work on fragment-based drug discovery projects.
Sylvia pursued a PhD at 果冻传媒, focusing on the clinical application of protein biomarkers in lung cancer diagnostics. Collaborating with clinical and academic partners, she developed advanced LC-MS/MS assays that integrated analytical precision with clinical utility.
In her current role as a research engineer, Sylvia uses her academic and technical background to support researchers in tackling complex analytical challenges.
