RESEARCH PROFILE
Thomas de Jong is a Doctoral Candidate in the Control Systems Group within the Department of Electrical Engineering, supervised by Dr. Mircea Lazar. His primary research focuses on data-driven methods for prediction and control of nonlinear systems.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Thomas de Jong obtained his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, in 2021. He obtained his MSc degree in Systems and Control at University of Technology, in 2023. His MSc thesis, entitled 鈥淓nergy Based Cooperative Distributed MPC for Frequency Control in Microgrids鈥� was conducted was supervised by Mircea Lazar.
