ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Tom Castenmiller is a research fellow at the High Tech Systems Center (HTSC) that performs fundamental research and design of new concepts and prototypes for high-tech equipment. His main affiliation is with ASML where he is Senior Node System Engineer. At HTSC Tom Castenmiller is concerned with the development of collaborative research programs for industrially relevant areas. In addition, the implementation of systems thinking in research- and development environments has his attention.
Tom Castenmill;er studied Applied Physics at the 果冻传媒 from 1983-1989. After working 7 years at OCE in Venlo in research and development he switched in 1997 to ASML to join the System Engineering team. As a system engineer he had different roles. Among others he was Overlay Functional System Engineer; Platform System Engineer of the Twinscan and NXT projects; Leading System engineer of the Overlay & Focus technology programs; Groupleader System Engineering and from 2012 on active on Systems of systems level as Node Requirements System Engineer.
