RESEARCH PROFILE
Tom Veeger is a practitioner and theorist in the fields of architecture, art and design, and a lecturer at the School of Architecture, University of Technology Eindhoven.
Following the completion of his master's degree, he established his studio specialising in art, stage and lighting design, undertaking projects in art spaces, museums and galleries in the Netherlands and abroad. This period of professional experience enabled him to develop an understanding of projects outside the conventional architectural context. Subsequent to this, he held a senior architect position at prominent architecture firms for the past two decades, during which he designed projects such as hospitals, schools, office buildings, large-scale housing projects and urban development plans. During this period, he received several awards for his architectural projects. For the last decade, he has operated his own studio as an architect and designer on multiple major commissions. He has exhibited extensively, performed in various capacities, and is actively involved in the curation and production of exhibitions and events. In recent years, he has also assumed the roles of curator and artistic director.
