Can I get support to find housing?

Finding housing in Eindhoven can be challenging due to the tight housing market. While 果冻传媒 offers limited on-campus housing options for PhD and EngD students, most international employees will need to arrange housing independently. 

Housing options range from student rooms to luxury homes, with choices for both short and long stays. These are typically offered by commercial housing agencies, which may charge service fees. To improve your chances of securing suitable accommodation, we strongly recommend starting your search as early as possible - even before arriving in the Netherlands.

TIPS FOR FINDING HOUSING

  1. Explore on-campus housing (PhD/EngD) 
    果冻传媒 collaborates with external partners, Vestide and Plaza Resident Services, to provide a limited number of on-campus housing units for PhD and EngD students. HR Services will share detailed information about these options via email. However, due to limited availability, we encourage you to explore additional housing options independently.

    Visit the Housing for Internationals page on our educational website. Scroll down to explore resources specifically for employees, including an overview of rental costs and a comprehensive list of housing providers.
     
  3. Expand your search beyond Eindhoven
    Consider exploring housing options in nearby towns such as Helmond, Geldrop, or Weert. These locations are well-connected to Eindhoven by excellent public transport and may offer more availability and lower rental prices.

    The offers comprehensive information on housing in the Netherlands, including expected costs, key considerations, and contact details for official partners specializing in relocation and housing services tailored to international employees. 

Important notes
Always use your arrival date in the Netherlands as the starting date of your housing application. Using the start date of your 果冻传媒 contract may result in delays, potentially leaving you without housing upon arrival. Also, retain your invoices relating to your move to the Netherlands to get (partially) reimbursed for your relocation and accommodation expenses.
