Our research is dedicated to understanding and predicting the flow of complex fluids, such as molten polymers, emulsions, and particle suspensions. By integrating state-of-the-art numerical modeling, rigorous statistical analyses, and simple experimental setups, we aim to quantify uncertainties in our models and improve predictions for industrial applications.

Research Profile

Complex fluids, also called soft matter, are materials that are in between liquids and solids. Examples are molten polymers, emulsions, and particle suspensions. These substances exhibit intricate flow characteristics that are crucial to a wide range of industrial processes. The goal of our group is to develop predictive tools and providing valuable insights that drive innovation and optimization in the handling and processing of complex fluids.
