Dr. Dmitri Danilov has a background in Physics and Mathematics and obtained his M Sc. at the Saint-Petersburg University in 1993. In 1997 he started his Ph.D. study at the University of Tilburg, studying model selection procedures and pre-testing. He obtained his PhD degree in 2003. At the end  of 2002 he joined Eurandom at the TUE campus, first being involved in research activities on 鈥淏attery Management and Battery Modelling鈥 EET project, then continue his work on 鈥3D Integrated Batteries鈥 SenterNovem project, FP7 SUPERLION, Eniac BATTMAN and ECSEL 3Ccar projects. He conducted researches on ageing and State-of-Charge indication for the Li-ion rechargeable batteries and various aspects of hydrogen storage. His current research interests include mathematical modeling for complex electrochemical systems, including Li-ion and NiMH batteries, ageing and degradation processes. He has published as author and coauthor more than 50 papers and book contributions.
