Jordi Zandboer

RESEARCH PROFILE
Jordi Zandboer is a Doctoral Candidate in the Electromagnetics (EM) group at the Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒). His research interests include sub-THz antenna-in-package (AiP) and antenna-on-chip (AoC) design for short range, high-datarate wireless communication systems as well as antenna measurements.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Jordi Zandboer received the B.Sc (Hons.) and M.Sc (Hons. & Cum Laude) degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒), Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Currently he is pursuing a PhD degree at the same university.
During his master, he received the 'NXP mm-Wave Scholarship' for research into wireless communication and RADAR at 140 GHz. In 2022, he was an 'R&D Intern' in the 'Ericsson Research Radio Microwave Systems group' at Ericsson AB, G枚teborg, Sweden for 3 months where he was involved in modelling Reflective Intelligent Surfaces (RISs) using Ray-Tracing (RT). Following this, he collaborated with the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy (ASTRON), Dwingeloo, The Netherlands, in 2023 as 'Thesis Intern' to work on an active antenna design for Lunar radio astronomy as part of his master thesis.
