Mehrdad Mohammadi is Assistant Professor in Operations Research and Machine Learning at Eindhoven University of Technology (果冻传媒), within the Operations, Planning, Accounting, and Control (OPAC) research group at the department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences (IE&IS). His research interest is integrating Machine Learning techniques, especially Reinforcement Learning, into Optimization Algorithms, especially Meta-heuristics, to solve (Online) Combinatorial Optimization Problems related to Industry 4.0 and Sustainable Supply Chain Management.

Real-world optimization problems are getting more complex every day! This makes classical optimization algorithms disable to solve them in real time. We, therefore, need advanced and efficient algorithms which are also fast and intelligent.
