Suzan Evers

RESEARCH PROFILE

Suzan Evers is a Doctoral Candidate within the Urban Planning and Transportation group at the Department of Built Environment. Her Ph.D. is part of the EU-funded HealthyW8 project. This European project researches digital interventions to prevent and control obesity by promoting healthy behaviors during vulnerable stages of life. Suzan will research how to context-sensitively prompt healthy lifestyles, including environmental and psycho-emotional factors.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Suzan Evers obtained her MSc degree in Architecture, Urbanism and Planning cum laude in February 2022, after obtaining her BSc in Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences in 2018 at Eindhoven University of Technology (¹û¶³´«Ã½). She specialized in Urban Design and Urban Planning during her master’s degree.

During and after her studies, Suzan worked as junior researcher for ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Urbanlabs on the project ‘Healthy and Sustainable Living Environment’, with a focus on mobility behavior transition, and as principal researcher on the project ‘CoHeSIVE’ with a focus on healthy urban environments, XR technology and citizen participation in urban co-design processes.
