Discover the future of electrochemical conversions and storage聽

Join the 2nd electrochemical national symposium, and explore the latest innovations and trends in electrochemical conversions & storage. This year, the organization is in the hands of GroenvermogenNL and Eindhoven Institute of for Renewable Energy Systems (EIRES)

The need for innovation in electrochemical conversion & storage聽

The world is facing major challenges in the field of sustainability and energy supply. Innovations in electrochemical processes are essential to address these issues and ensure a green future.

Promoting Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration
The symposium provides a platform for scientists, researchers, and industry professionals to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and create valuable collaborations.

Inspiring Plenary Lectures by International Experts
Enjoy two plenary lectures where leading experts share their insights on the latest developments and future trends in electrochemical conversions.

Plenary speakers:
Ifan Stephens 鈥 Imperial college London

Ifan鈥檚 research is influencing the future of sustainable energy and eco-friendly industries. This includes creating electrolysis methods for storing renewable electricity, improving fuel cells as a possible zero-emission power source for vehicles, and innovating green chemical synthesis for more environmentally friendly industrial processes.

Marnix Wagemaker 鈥 Technical University of Delft
Marnix鈥檚 research focuses on electrochemical energy storage, particularly understanding battery processes at a fundamental level. He uses advanced techniques like operando neutron and X-ray methods, as well as solid-state NMR, to study structural and kinetic properties during charge and discharge cycles, aiming to improve battery performance.
