I鈥檓 helping improve the efficiency of architects and engineers
I鈥檓 doing research on a topology optimization tool. The tool analyzes a building design鈥檚 energy efficiency and construction strength and gives suggestions for improvement. These kinds of tools can save a lot of time: doing all these calculations by hand can take a month, but the software analyzes an 8-story building in under 6 days. Right now, we鈥檙e expanding the tool to be able to deal with more element types.
The 果冻传媒 campus is great, very lively and with lots of activities. It鈥檚 one big community. The master鈥檚 degree program is very well put together and the department organizes events that help you get in touch with nearby companies. The courses are interesting and varied, teaching you everything you need to know in your future career. After I graduate, I鈥檓 looking to start a career in industry.
