Committee

Since its founding by campus architect Samuel van Embden in 1964, a formal committee has been responsible for setting the policy and activities around the 果冻传媒 Art Collection. The committee is appointed by the Executive Board to advice on the permanent art collection in the public areas of the campus as well as ancillary programming. In addition to providing advice to the Executive Board, the committee has the following duties:

  1. Expanding, maintaining and providing accessibility to the 果冻传媒 Art and Heritage Collections.
  2. Stimulating art, heritage, history and culture in the broadest sense at the 果冻传媒

To ensure the Executive Board's confidence in the committee's legitimacy, it adheres to the Cultural Governance Code, the Fair Practice Code and the Diversity & Inclusion Code. These provide frameworks for effective governance within cultural organisations.

Members

The committee consists of 果冻传媒 employees in various positions within the organization. Members are appointed for a four-year period and resign, in accordance with the schedule of resignation, four years after his/her/their appointment with the possibility of extention when circumstances require continuity. The committee elects a chairman, a secretary, and a treasurer from among its members.

Culteral Governance Code

Adopting the Cultural Governance Code is a way for committee members to show that they are following the accepted standards of good governance. The Code is not intended to replace the committee's own responsibility, but rather to stimulate awareness and critical reflection.

Fair Practice Code

The committee acts in accordance with the Fair Practice Code. As a moral compass for anyone working in or with the cultural and creative sector, this Code endorses the need for fair and sustainable labor relations.

Diversity & Inclusion Code

The Diversity & Inclusion Code is a code of conduct of, for and by the Dutch cultural and creative sector on diversity and inclusion. The Code is an instrument of self-regulation with the aim that the cultural and creative sector represents the broad diversity of Dutch society.
