CREMzoom: CO2-Responsive Etalon Membranes (CREM) for in-situ analysis of oceanwater

Indirect ocean capture (IOC) is a technologies in which the ocean-atmosphere equilibrium is leveraged through controlling the pH of the seawater to extract the (dissolved) CO2. For this project, our partners at the TU Delft (contact: Hanieh Bazyer, Kontaxi Georgia) fabricate microfluidic-scale chip membranes with CO2-responsive microgels (CREM) to measure CO2 concentration in situ, in the sea. At 果冻传媒 we investigate the underlying mechanism under operational conditions with advanced imaging techniques.
