Dr. Ieke le Blanc, an enthusiastic supply chain and data science expert, is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experiences with the next generation of professionals. Ieke finds great joy in discussing these topics and inspiring his students to appreciate the value that data can unlock when combined with domain and business expertise. With years of practical experience across various industries and companies, Dr. Ieke le Blanc is widely recognized as a thought leader in the field of supply chain management. His career journey, which began with a PhD in Quantitative Logistics, has always been a blend of supply chain management and quantitative analysis. Ieke鈥檚 extensive consulting experience allows him to bring real-world insights into the classroom, helping students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications.

He is an expert in analytics translation鈥攃onverting business needs into data-driven solutions and turning data insights into actionable business strategies. Over the years, his focus has expanded to include change management, a critical aspect of successfully implementing data science solutions.

Biography

Dr. Ieke le Blanc graduated cum laude in Econometrics and Operations Research from Tilburg University, where he also earned his PhD in Quantitative Logistics. His research during this time focused on applying quantitative models for designing circular supply chains, leading to numerous publications in top-tier academic journals.

After completing his PhD, Ieke transitioned to industry, where he worked at TNT Express and Philips in various supply chain improvement roles. Specializing in Lean Six Sigma, he progressed from Black Belt to Master Black Belt, overseeing large-scale improvement programs.

Since 2012, Dr. Ieke le Blanc has worked as a senior consultant at EyeOn, a consultancy specializing in supply chain planning and forecasting. He was leading EyeOn's industrial team for the chemical, food ingredients, and packaging sectors. He became a partner in 2024 and has taken the role of business unit leader for EyeOn Products & Services. Ieke's areas of expertise include demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain redesign.

In addition to his role at EAISI, Ieke also lectures at TIAS Business School.
